Treatment For Disease

List of Our Therapeutic Services:

Swedish Massage – This massage is designed to increase oxygen flow in the body and rid the body of toxins. This promotes relaxation by relieving stress through the use of long strokes, kneading and muscle stretching with the use of the hands, forearms and elbows to work the superficial muscles.

Deep Tissue Massage – Deep tissue is a type of massage that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) / Trigger Points – This massage is performed to deactivate tender spots called trigger points (TrP) in muscles and related connective tissues. TrPs may develop as a result of trauma, poor posture, repetitive strain, or overworked muscles.

Pregnancy Massage – This massage relieves the physical and emotional stresses women experience during pregnancy. This gentle massage is a wonderful way to relax, increase energy, and relieve discomfort by having the mother-to-be lay on her side in a fully supported position with pillows in order to alleviate the pressure felt on the low back.

Hot Stone Massage – Hot stone massage includes specialized stones called basalt stones. By placing and kneading hot stones over the muscles, blood flow is increased to stimulate healing to painful or damaged muscles. The deep tissue massage and heat of the stones also aid in the ability to move toxins and waste through the body.

Sports Massage - This technique uses deep massage strokes to prepare an individual for intense exercise or to reduce soreness caused by the build-up of lactic acid after exercise. Sports massage can ease physical injuries by stretching and toning damaged muscles, resulting in decreased recovery time. It can also soften scar tissue caused by previous injuries and assists the removal of waste products from the body. Since Sports massage also increases muscle flexibility, it can also be used to prevent injury.

Couples massage – During a couples massage, two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists. It can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, same-sex partners, moms and daughters or best friends. This is a great way to share the relaxing experience with a loved one!

Chair Massage – Chair Massage is administered while the client is clothed and seated in a specially designed chair. This type of massage can be performed anywhere giving social events and businesses a unique opportunity for creating innovative party favors, incentives, improving morale. Chair Massage has been scientifically proven to prevent and manage repetitive stress injuries (ex. Carpal Tunnel), provides Migraine/Headache relief and improves productivity.
